As our favourite TV series 'Game of Thrones' kicks off again with the start of season 5, I knew immediately that it was the perfect time to share the 'Game of Social Thrones' creations from the team at Hootsuite.
As a Hootsuite ambassador I know just how passionate some of the team members are about all the great conversations that happens across social media about this hot topic. The best part of it all is that we can keep track and join all of these conversations by having our streams set up within the Hootsuite dashboard as you can see in the image below:
Just like Westeros, Mireen and beyond the wall, the Social landscape is made up of many kingdoms. Vast and disparate as they may seem, this is actually not the case. There is a bridge, a connection and like the kings road, it can be used to traverse this ever changing adventure. Hootsuite is that bridge.
Hootsuite in its capacity to bring all your Social networks together into one manageable dashboard, means that although winter is coming, you will prevail.
From humble beginnings come great things! ~ Hootsuite

Between 2011 - 2013 things were really tense in the Social Media world “Social Media blockades”, with some of the big networks cutting some of their API access, Hootsuite was inspired tocreate this awesome infographic below illustrating the different Social Media Houses and tension there was between them. Luckily the order of the owls delivered messages safely to all between battles.
Hootsuite saves the day!
House of LinkedIn hasrecently announced that they will 'add blockages' in the Social flow by limiting the open API as of 12 May 2015. Some of us are feeling nervous about the effect this will have on the rest of the social kingdom, but with Hootsuite being a Certified Company Pages Partner of LinkedIn, communication with company pages won't be affected. We are still waiting to hear about personal profiles and groups. Stay tuned, I will share an update as soon as I know right here on my blog.
